Who can benefit from therapy?

We can all find therapy beneficial regardless of age, gender, sexuality or beliefs.

What issues can be brought to therapy?

People seek to access therapy for many reasons including: Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Attacks, Phobias, Bereavement, Divorce, Abuse, Sexual Violence, Trauma, PTSD, OCD, Confidence and Self-esteem issues, Family and relational issues, Self-harm, Eating Disorders…to name but a few.  However, there are also times when a person doesn’t always know exactly why they feel the way they do and therapy can help to clarify what is going on, deepen self-awareness and provide the support that is needed to work through these feelings.

Which type of therapy is right for me?

The issues that you are facing, as well their origins, will determine which type of therapy is right for you and this is why I offer a free initial call in order to make an assessment of your individual needs.

How long will I need to attend therapy?

There is no set amount of sessions as this will depend on what is brought into the therapy room. Some clients have specific issues that may be addressed within 6-9 weeks while others may require longer term support. We will discuss this in the initial consultation but ultimately the decision will be yours.

How much will it cost?

Each session lasts for 50 minutes and costs £50.

Where will sessions be held?

I see clients face to face in Higham Ferrers but also offer online and telephone sessions.

Will sessions be confidential?

Yes. Sessions are confidential unless there is a threat to your life, a risk to another or a court of law orders the release of information. It is a requirement as a therapist that I attend regular clinical supervision but any issues that may be discussed will always be done so anonymously.
